At Expert Education Training (EET), we understand that schedules can change. Our goal is to keep our refunds, cancellation, makeup, and vacation policies simple and fair for families.

 

1. First-Day 100% Refund

 

We want families to feel comfortable trying our programs.

 

If you decide to cancel on your student's first day of class, you may request a 100% refund of eligible tuition paid.

The request must be made on the same calendar day as the student's first class.

 

Example:
You paid $249 for the program. Your student attends the first class, and you contact us that same day to cancel.

Refund: $249 (100%)

Any separately disclosed non-refundable materials or third-party fees may be excluded where applicable.

 

2. Refund After the First Day

 

If you cancel after the first day, your refund will be calculated on a pro-rated basis.

You only pay for the instructional hours already used. The remaining eligible tuition will be refunded.

 

Example

 

Monthly tuition: $249
Instruction included: 8 hours
Student attended: 3 hours

 

Hourly value:

$249 ÷ 8 = $31.13 per hour

 

Used tuition:

3 × $31.13 = $93.39

 

Refund:

$249 − $93.39 = $155.61

Eligible refund: $155.61

 

3. How We Calculate a Pro-Rated Refund

 

The calculation is simple:

 

Tuition Paid ÷ Total Instructional Hours = Hourly Tuition Value

 

Then:

Hourly Tuition Value × Hours Used = Used Tuition

 

Finally:

Tuition Paid − Used Tuition = Eligible Refund

 

Applicable non-refundable fees or materials, if any, may be deducted.

 

4. How to Request a Refund

 

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email: info@ExpertEducationTraining.com

 

The date we receive your written request will normally be considered your cancellation date.

 

Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method when practical.

 

Bank, credit-card, and PayPal processing times may vary.

 

5. Missed Classes & Makeup Classes

 

Yes, makeup classes are available with prior communication.

If your student cannot attend a scheduled class, please notify us as early as possible.

Depending on availability, we may provide:

• A rescheduled class

• Another available class

• An online makeup session

• Another suitable makeup arrangement

Makeup classes are subject to instructor and class availability.

 

6. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

 

Our instructors reserve time specifically for scheduled students.

If a student misses a class without prior communication, the session may be counted as a used instructional hour and may not qualify for a refund, credit, or makeup class.

We understand that emergencies happen and will consider reasonable emergency situations individually.

 

7. Vacation & Planned Absences

 

Going on vacation? Your eligible hours do not necessarily have to be lost.

Please inform EET before your vacation or planned extended absence.

With prior communication and approval, your student's unused eligible hours can be paused and used toward upcoming instructional hours.

 

Example

Your student has 4 unused hours and will be away on vacation.

 

With advance approval:

4 unused hours → 4 hours of future instructional credit

The student can use the approved hours after returning, subject to class and instructor availability.

Vacation credits are normally instructional credits and are not automatically converted into cash refunds.

 

8. Classes Cancelled by EET

​

If Expert Education Training cancels a scheduled class, we will normally provide:

• A makeup class

• A rescheduled class

• An appropriate online class, or

• Credit toward future instructional hours

If we cannot provide the purchased instruction or a reasonable replacement, the eligible unused portion may be refunded.

 

9. Weather & Emergency Closures

​

In the event of severe weather, building issues, instructor emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances, an in-person class may be:

• Moved online

• Rescheduled, or

• Provided as a makeup class

If substantially equivalent live online instruction is provided at the scheduled time, the class will generally be considered completed.

 

10. 1-on-1 Tutoring

 

1-on-1 tutoring reserves an instructor specifically for one student.

Please provide advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a private tutoring session.

With appropriate notice, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session based on instructor availability.

A missed 1-on-1 session without prior communication may be counted as a completed session.

 

11. Books & Learning Materials

 

Depending on the program, students may receive books, workbooks, printed materials, assessments, or digital resources.

Books or materials that have already been used, written in, specially ordered, or cannot reasonably be reused may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

Any applicable material charges will be communicated to the family.

 

12. ACT® & SAT® ( Test Preparation Independent test preparation and tutoring for students.) & Special Programs

 

ACT® & SAT® ( Test Preparation Independent test preparation and tutoring for students.) preparation, workshops, camps, competitions, intensive programs, or other special programs may have their own refund or cancellation terms.

If separate terms apply, they will be communicated during registration. Otherwise, EET's standard refund policy will apply.

 

13. Unused Hours & Credits

 

Approved unused hours may be:

• Rescheduled

• Carried forward

• Applied toward future classes

• Used as approved vacation credit

Unused instructional credits generally have no cash value unless they qualify for a refund under this policy.

Credits are for the enrolled student and cannot normally be transferred to another student without EET approval.

 

14. Payment Methods

 

Expert Education Training accepts:

• Cash

• Credit Card

• PayPal

Payments may be made in person or online, depending on the payment method.
